I am an 12 year old with life threatening food allergies to nuts. That means if I touch an area where something with nuts has been my airways start to close. I DIDN'T get to do most activies kids my age are doing. I DIDN'T go to birthday parties, sleepovers or ball games. My family and I WERE worried about middle school next year. I'll have to share desks with other kids and won't know what they've had on it. And I'd like to start going places without my mom & dad.

I now have my service dog that is trained to tell me where trace amounts of nuts are to help keep me safe.  Sage has been going to school with me ALL year! You have probably seen me at stores, restaurants and parks with her too. I feel so much safer with Sage by my side to make sure the environments are safe. I have been able to do more "normal" activies.
THANK YOU to EVERYONE that helped us  raise $15,000 for my dog, her training , and my travel and training. We went to Colorado for our 2 weeks of training in May 2010. It was some long hours and very hard butI certified with Sage. I want to thank the whole Angel Service Dog team and Alliance K-9 for all their help & support.

Sage is a one of a kind black lab that is a peanut finding maniac. She LOVES finding peanuts.

Now we need to fundraise again so Sage & I can be re-certified this spring/summer. If you'd like to donate to help us the information is below. THANKS!
